Graham left the Coast Guard Academy as a graduate a mere 12 days before I arrived as an incoming cadet. Naturally, we trailed each other for years through law school, bar exams, and life. When I needed a lawyer, I went to Graham, on whom I knew I could depend as an intellect and a gentleman. He is an example and I am proud to have known him.

I had the honor of representing Belmont High School on the Shaker Regional School Board for the 2007-2008 school year. I was always welcomed to the meetings by Grahams smiling face and warm and wise words. I will truly miss him and my thoughts are with his family.

I never had the good fortune to meet Mr. Chenowith, however, I had heard about his career and gift to Concord Area People. It is sad for me to contemplate a loss of this magnitude. I can only hope that others will follow in his footsteps and keep him in their hearts.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Chynoweth Family. May God be with you as you celebrate Graham's love of life. Graham and I are CG Academy classmates. I will always remember him as a kind, unflappable guy. Although I have not seen Graham since graduation, I can still picture his bright, friendly smile.

I am eagerly looking forward to coming to the memorial service. Graham was such a great guy and generous friend. I will miss him very much, but I am sure the Lord is looking after him.

Gray & the Chynoweth family - I had the privilege of meeting Graham at events at Gray's home throughout 2008. What struck me most in our conversations was how rightfully proud he was of Gray, and, no doubt, of his entire family. My condolences and God bless.

Gray: Russ and I were so sorry to hear about your dad, and we're thinking of you and your family. As you know, I had the pleasure of interviewing him regularly during my time at the Monitor. He was never too busy to talk to me about education or his community, for which he obviously cared deeply. My favorite memory (which I think personified his dry sense of humor!) was him explaining to the voters of the Shaker Regional School District that the No Child Left Behind Act was "the tail literally wagging the dog," he said as he held a stuffed puppy above his head. I'm sure he'll be missed by all.

I had the pleasure of being in Graham's law school class. He brought to that experience, and to the practice of law upon his graduation, wisdom and perspective that enabled him to treat the law as a healing profession. Graham went to law school to make a differernce in the world but law was only one of many tools he used in helping to improve the lives of families and communities. My condolences to Graham's family and loved ones.
