I'm so sad to hear of Graham's passing. I didn't find out till today, when I found this wonderful story on line, purely by chance. Chynoweth Legal Services was a Yellow Page advertising client of mine for several years, and it was always a great pleasure to work with Graham. He was invariably thoughtful and considerate, and every year allowed me time out of his busy schedule to meet with him personally. He always made me feel like I was a trusted business associate, and it was an honor to work with him. My condolences to his family and business associates. Sincerely, Karen Bachelder

I was greatly sadened to read of Graham's passing. Though ew had lost touch over the years, I have fond memories of our time as cooleagues in haelthcare planning in New Hampshire. Knowing him enriched my life at a time of great personl change.

Just about this time last year I was sitting with you up in Canterbury listening to you spin the wonderful tale of intrigue, excitement and transformation that was your time at the Coast Guard and in Vietnam. I miss your wonderful, wonderful stories. I work hard to spin yarns that you would have enjoyed - when I tell them it makes me feel like you are listening in over my shoulder. I love and miss you Dad.

As the season turns to frosty leaves flying from their branches I should not be surprised, but I am, to return here. There is comfort in these many messages and the community that hold Graham dear in our hearts always.

I didn't know Graham had passed on 'til today, when I read the sponsorship message on the air at NHPR. He was so good to me at a terrible time in my life and I remain grateful for his presence in my life.

If I close my eyes I can see you, Linda, and a small Peter behind me in Immaculate Conception knowing that you were opening your son to multiple ways of questioning the metaphysical. How ironic it is that I attended your Shaker good-bye with my best friend only to have to prepare her for one at IC. I hope you are having long walks together with Sam Labrador (his ashes were in the catafalque). Pret said so much of what I would have liked to say, but who needs redundancy. Besides, you never called me a "policy wonk" so...the truth hurts. I will miss your grace and I thank Chris for this page.

Graham was truly a wonderful human being, kind, strong, giving, thoughtful and caring. He was a true inspiration to everyone he knew. I believe Graham would be very happy to know that from him we have learned another lesson. The cancer did not win, Graham did. With Graham there was always a lesson to be learned and he showed that you can beat cancer by being thankful for the life you were given and living the life you have to the fullest. I was lucky enough to have worked with Graham, learned from him and called him a friend. He was there for me through a loss of my own and shared words of caring to help me heal. I will always be thankful for having the chance to know him. My heart and prayers go to his family. I hope that you are able to get through this difficult time knowing how many people knew and loved Graham. He will be missed by everyone he touched.

My heart feels heavy with sorrow upon learning the news of Graham's passing. I have truly been touched by his compassion, humor, integrity, heart and soul. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Graham. Over the last three years I have grown close to Graham. Not only have I learned from Graham's vast knowledge of the legal field, but more importantly I will take life lessons with me. I used to love listening to all of Graham's stories. Just when I would think I had heard my favorite Graham story, I would soon hear another which I enjoyed even more than the last. Graham always seemed to make time to let people know how much they meant to him. Even if it meant traveling an hour just to stop into a function to say hello for a few minutes, you could always count on Graham to be there. In visiting with him a couple weeks ago, I found myself noticing how even given the circumstances and his condition, Graham seemed to be helping me throught his difficult time. Graham, being the wonderful person he is, stayed positive throughout our whole visit and thinking about that and knowing that he is happy and peaceful helps me cope. I will truly miss Graham and his loving and caring spirit. I will be celebrating his life with all of those who he has touched on December 13.

Ah Graham. I will miss you terribly but every time I walk into a School Board meeting I will remember you fondly and reverently. Your commitment to every child, parent and taxpayer in Shaker Regional was inspiring and tireless. You were my introduction to School Board duties as we slogged through the process of creating the policy manual. The hours of discussing grammar and semantics, though they may have driven Mike nuts were fascinating. I was so proud when a year into my first term you called me a 'policy wonk'. Honestly, everybody; Graham was the epitome of a public servant. Integrity?: Unquestioned. Passion?: Boundless. Compassion?: Depth less. Inclusion?: Breadth less. I wish I could write prose. Peter and Linda, I f I can help with anything please let me know. Did you ever build your driveway?

We are all diminished by Graham's passing. As a classmate at "Frank's," Graham always had a continuing calming effect and a constant smile during what was for me a very turbulent three years. God speed...
